271 Clutch squeak?

I recently purchased a 2002 MF271. Yesterday was first chance I had to do some serious loader work with it. The more I used it the more I heard a squeaking noise. After I got through and started investigating it sounded like it was coming from just above the area where the clutch pedal is. I played with the pedal and discovered if I pressed it all the way down it would stop. Anywhere in between it still squeaked with maybe a little difference depending on where it was. Please tell me this is not the throw out bearing! If it is what is the symptom when it goes completely? I guess the noise is radiating to the area up under the hood above the clutch?
