I'll be replacing the clutch on a Mod 65. The tag is gone, so is there any casting codes or anything on the 65 that I can determine year without the ID tag?

Though there is not a particular way to ID the year. There were specific points in the production when parts were introduced. ... I do not have my parts manual with me today, however, look at the following and report back and I might be able to narrow it down.

What does your air intake look like? "Bird" emblem or the triangular MF. Clutch petal is it long and pivot at the rear of the left foot plate or doe it pivot at the front of the footplate.

What kind of engine. if Diesel is it a perkins or standard?

Jeff

I found the ser. number on the right side of the tractor instead of on the dash. It is a 1963, It has the Direct Injection diesel, it doesn't have the wedge to remove by the oil pan. Alot of strange stuff on this one compared to the 1960 that I owned, including muffler that goes down and to the rear. thanks for the reply
