I've come accross a Massey Super 90 row crop tractor - 1964, Perkins A4-300 Diesel - can anyone give me general specs on this model, what to look for and what to be wary of? Seller says that PTO remains in motion with no load. What does this indicate? Also, any ideas on going prices would be appreciated - located in NE. Thanks!

The pto clutch pack needs to be rebuilt when pto shaft does not stop. The 8 speed transmission is best. Some Super 90's have the Multi-Power transmission. The Perkins A4-300 Diesel is a good engine.

I will be also looking for info on this tractor.
A local junker has a super 90 in his inventory and it looks very restorable. But knowing this guy's reputation I am almost afraid to ask how much he wants for it. [or what is wrong with it]
The local MF dealer says that they were a pretty good tractor and that there is still a few running
locally. SE/Iowa
