Got a question... What is the REAL WORLD lift capacity of a MF 35? The weight would be MOSTLY with-in 3 feet of the 3-point lift...

(Will it lift 900 to 1100 LBS????)

And waste all that good PAINT? Heavens NO!

I'm asking in regards to a cultivator I'm selling to someone with an MF35.

I regularly use a sparayer with 500 litre capacity (ie 1200 lbs) comfortably. I have 3 suitcase weights on the front, one wheel weight (haven't gotten around to putting the other one back) and no water in the wheels. Steering is "sweet" but not disconcerting.

It'll lift a 5x6 2000# roll of hay with about 6 solid concrete blocks sitting on the front bumper (in an improvised rack).

For 900# you shouldn't have any problem but steering will be sweet (assuming it has manual steering).

I don't see why it wouldn't lift half a ton close to the hitch. Snowblowers typically weigh 500 to 700 lb and they aren't a problem. A three point, three bottom 14" plough, the MasseyHarrisFerguson 72 lists its weight at 750 lb and I'm hoping my tractor will be able not only to lift it, but to pull it out of the ground at the end of a row.

This winter with 550 pounds of snowblower out behind the hitch and no loader yet, the front end of my 35 felt a bit light on occasion, so I'd think it more likely that the total lifting capacity would be limited by the front wheels leaving the ground rather than the hydraulic strength.

Then there's that guy in Texas who keeps posting pictures of his MF35 lifting the front of a 6X6, so I could be way low in my estimate of the model's power.

I don't know the actual pounds but mine (FE35) will lift a six foot heavy duty harrow with about 300 lbs. of wheel weights added to the center. Kinda light on the front end though.
