Can I please get some opinions on an MF 65 I'm about to look at?

It has the Perkins 203 Diesel, diff lock, live PTO, PS, 6F 2R speeds.

What year range is this?

Is it a good tractor?

Anything I should know about?

Thanks in advance.

Mark

My MF 65 is a great tractor. I use mine for everything. I cut the yard with a Wood's mower, plow the garden and bale round bales of hay. I have had mine for about ten years with virtually no problems. A MF 65 diesel in good condition is a great all purpose tractor. Remote hydraulics are a plus and can be added if needed.

MF65 excelent tractor if in running condition sounds like it is equiped right for allaround tractor use if you check serial number there is a web sight that will tell you what year it was biult but that is not important condition, condition ,condition is the only concern you have some parts are still availible in the MF heriatage linecheck with a MF dealer for more info. Good Luck.....

Sounds like the twin to what I have. You can go to Link to see what year ranges they show for the MF65. If you can get the serial number off of the ID plate on the right side of the tractor, on the engine, under the instrument panel area, you can use it to identify what year it is by using chart located on that web page. I'm curious what kind of shape it is in. Mine is a 1962 and sounds just like yours except mine also has a loader. Mine runs like a top.
