Can someone tell me what the number and letters mean on this Massy Harris. Model 33D 1rf. Serial # 10308P. This tractor has a narrow front and what appears to be a factory 3-point. Sheet metal is good. Tractor starts and runs good. I"m cleaning up my neighbor"s equipment for her farm sale. I told her expect $1500-$2200, am I in the ballpark. Thanks for your time.

I am restoring a massey 33diesel, rowcrop with a hand clutch and it is serial #10303P, but it is not for sale. I am always on the lookout for parts but they are almost impossible to find.

I don't have parts for the 33, but I do have parts for other Massey tractors. I also have a 33 (not for sale) SN# 1008. Would you happen to know if there are other Massey 33 tractors with an lower serial number?

Thanks Studiediesel63 for the information. What do you mean by a few. Few hundred, few thoasand. Jillhu, they have not set a date for the auction yet. They have sold some of the bigger equipment to the person that farmed for them, and they took some of it to a consignment sale. I will put a post on here when I find out. You talk to each kid you get a different answer. Sorry so vague.

Hi, 33D1RF,1 means regular altitude,R means row crop,F means foot clutch,10308 is a 1955 model.
I would think double your prospective figures if tractor is that good, as few diesels were built.
Hope sale goes well.

I was at a sale a while ago and there was a 33 diesel that ran good, paint was poor, and it sold for $3500.
