I have a Massey Harris Pony and am rebuilding the engine. I am wondering where I can get parts such as gaskets, engine rings, and pistons. Also, are these sleeved motors or do the have to be bored? Also, the compression on it now is 50-55lbs on all cylinders. What should it be when the tractor is running properly? Thanks for any helping pointers. This is my first Massey rebuild. Normaly I stay with the green stuff, but those little pony's have always caught my attention.

Compression for the pony engine is 90 to 100.

The Pony engine is a Continental N 62. Rebuild kits are available on this site, and I believe someone mentioned that NAPA stores could still order the Continental engine parts. As far as compression numbers go, mine were 85 to 90 before rebuild. I don"t know what "new" compression numbers were, but I think about 110-120 sounds right. Hopefully someone else will know for sure.
