I am usually on the other "Red" site but I need a little help here. By the way, I do own a 175 diesel so maybe can hang out here too. My brother farms in Iowa and he and the family are coming to visit us in Wa tomorrow and he is telling me he just bought a 383 Massey Ferg. with 4 cyl diesel and a heavy duty M_F loader. I have never heard or seen that model and wonder if he is telling me some story to send me on a wild goose chase or if I missed out on a few models while I was too busy working on my other red ones. He loves the tractor but needs some operating manuals to check it out. Anybody have a picture or info on this thing? I want to impress him with how much I know about his new toy or at least be able to act like I do. Thanks. Migraine

In W. Va. Dept. of Highways used the 2wd model as roadside mowers, with a boom mower. A real workhorse with huge hydraulic tank & cab Had to have a big tractor to handle the boom extended full length over a guardrail. After yrs of hard use they were auctioned off for $8000 apiece.
