Hello-

I have a Massey MF-35 gas and I am having trouble with the cooling system. When I got the tractor, it had no thermostat. The tractor ran fine in the summer but as it is now colder, the tractor temp won"t even move the needle on the temp gauge (starts at 135 deg). It stalls under even the slightest load. I installed a 190 deg thermostat and once the tractor warm us a bit - it blows ALL the coolant out the radiator overflow tube. Do I have an incorrect thermostat? Also, what should be the pressure rating be on the radiator cap?

Any ideas would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Matt

My understanding is that '35's like a 160 -165 degree thermostat.

Good luck,
Craig
