Hello again-

Another question about this tractors voltage regulator: The regulator has 4 electrical connection posts. Ground is on the back, on the side are "Bat", "F", and "L". b = battery, F = Field, but I'm uncertain what the "L" is for.. It did not have any wiring connected to it when disconnected... Could it be as simple as "Lights" ??? any clarification would be apppreciated.

Also, I've had trouble with crank oil working its way into distributor and shorting out the points. I understand that this may indicate a worn dist. bushing or seal (if there is one). can anyone help diagnose this problem so I can order up parts before I disassemble the dist. Also any good source for parts would be appreciated?

Thanks Craig

You guessed it. Why they did it this way I dunno. But if it is important I can dig around and see. My info comes from the MF manual; not a WA guess.
