My MF-35 came with a hinge type disconnect switch on the battery. Former owner indicated that this was to prevent batttery from discharging when the machine was not used for long periods. Will frequently disconnecting the negative battery connection cause any problems w/ generator or voltage regulator function or polarity?

Secondly, I dammaged the tractors old Voltage Regulator when attempting to replace the broken rubber shock absorbers on the mounts (it was hanging on its wires). So a new regulator is ready for installation, along w/ a nice new battery. Can anyone provide simple instructions for "Flashing the field" on this machine so I do not end up with repeated problems?

Thanks Craig
