mf35..z134 eng. had it about 6 mo. always started up right away and ran well, although it would "poof" some, and black soot on inside of tailpipe and around sorrounding area. yeaterday cranked it up, started, then died. since then will only spin, but not start. changed plugs about 5 mo. ago, yesterday changed ign. coil and new coil wire. have spark although it appears weak(dont know how strong it is supposed to be on tractors)cleaned air filter bath about 5 mo, ago also, and since then have put app. 20 hrs on tractor.any sugg would be appreciated.

Yellow spark? Replace the condenser.

Gas in the tank? That happened to me last year. Gas valve turned on at the gas tank?

I also had an intermittent ignition switch.

Stuck float needle valve? Is it getting fuel to the carburetor? Filters, lines, and screens plug up with varnish just sitting.
