Love my 65, but don't love being pushed by a baler and full wagon. Saw an Allis Chalmers program on RFD tv, and they showed an AC about the size of a farmall C with dual rear wheels. Anybody ever see a dualie 65? Does it make sense? Could it be done? How would you go about it? I would think more rubber on the ground would mean more stopping powerand stability on the hills.
I look forward to your thoughts.

add fuild to the rear or dry wts. and then you will have a real tractor for pulling and will be a lot cheeper and NO it will NOT rust the rims if you have NO leaks. duels have there place and yes they will fit a 65 but don't work well for things like bailing tractor gets to wide. clamp ons are your best bet but you might have power adj. wheels so that is a little harder to do but not bad but cost will be a factor. we had a 65 with duels that we used to work land and it would just about flot on wet ground

Already have wet tires and dry weights. Maybe smaller hay wagons is the cheaper way to go.

Just don't load the wagon as full simple.

Hi,
Having duals on a MF 135 was a good idea. I can speak from experience of being pushed downhill on several occasions by a baler. With duals you only go and stop where you want to. Yes, the extra width does cause problems if you 'roll' you hay first. The biggest drawback with the bolt-ons that I used was lack of manoeuverability in confined spaces and riding up banks in our sometimes narrow country lanes.
Your brain focusses on the width of the front wheels and forgets about the extra width in the rear. If you have slopes beyond the safe use of a two wheel drive tractor, perhaps you should be thinking about a four wheel drive.
Drive safely
