I have bought a massey ferguson 194S 4WD (reg march 89). It's in good condition, has been reconditioned and I am trying to find out the best places to learn more about the tractor, spare parts, supplies etc. I believe it was designed for use primarily in orchids though I will use it for general work.
Also, where can I find references to the Tractor, and how best to operate etc on the web?
Any info/expertise/advice would be welcomed.

To Allan and wayne - Thanks for the relies - very kind of you.
I am also looking for a owner's operating manual for the tractor - any ideas? Allan - before you go to any trouble, would the shop manual you refered to be the same as an owners manual or more of a mechanics maintenance book?
Thanks again

The 194 was used both orchards and vineyards with its low profile and compact design were popular. The MF 194 and the later series the MF 354,374, 394 were made by Landini for MF, parts should be readily available from any MF dealer. Good tractors with good hp and balance.Allan

I normally am just a reader on this MF board but couldn't help but comment on this tractor. Back in the early 80s we sold a 194 [worked their twenty years] four wheel drive .The first FWA tractor we ever sold. It did not resemble a MF tractor in any way but the red paint, the decal that said MF 194, the grille, and a Perkins 248 engine. I beleive I could find the shop manual for that tractor.[originalMF] If you need somthing in partuclar. I could copy the pages for you. I'll leave my email open on the next post if you like. The more I think about it, that might have been a 184 which was later replaced by a 294. I'll check that out today and if your still interested, get back yo you. whm
