Hi,
With '135' on the plate there should be no doubt as to the model. If there is, how many cylinders does the engine have?
In the UK early 165's had a AD4.203 engine with the ehhaust on the left hand side as you sit in the seat. This engine was virtually the same as the 3 cylinder engine fitted to the 135. IF the exhaust is on the right hand side and you have four cylinders, you should have a AD4.212 engined 165. There are many distinguishing differences, not to mention the size and general appearance. One easy one to check is that the 135 will have a steering arm on each side of the engine going from the steering box to the front axle steering arms. The 165 has only one on the left hand side.
If you would like to go to a great MF site, go to
Link
It is one of the best sites around and has the serial numbers listed.
Cheers
DavidP
