I bought this tractor with around 3000 hrs on it, The lady did not know much and used a screw diver to start it. It would run for a short time and then it will die, like it was running out of fuel. Of course i checked and that was not the problem. I had it serviced and they rebuilt the injector system, also did full oil change of all fluids and put a new starter switch and muffler and a generator, but the problem stills remains, i have been told that it is an air leak some were but I have not been successful in finding one. Any help would be much appreciated. Also the fuel system was cleaned and the fuel tank flushed and new filters put on. thanks for taking the time to respond!!

Hi Paul,
A couple of things that you might have another look at;

Make sure the little nylon filter on the tap is clear (and the tap fully on).
Make sure the lift pump has suction and blow by removing it and operating manually. Normally if all is in order and with the pipes disconnected you will hear a sort of 'donkey' sound. If your LP has a glass bowl there is a gauze filter above the bowl that does get blocked.
Air leak possible? Check the plastic pipe between the LP and the filter body.
Check sealing rings on filters.
Check for chafing of steel pipes particularly the pipe going to the rear of the main fuel pump.
Check air filter mushroom vents, and air filter condition.
Hope this helps

Paul...if you have a single element type fuel filter there is a hollow bolt with a hole in the side that holds down the banjo fitting on the fuel return line(top of filter)which then threads into another fitting with a check ball in it(I think it is spring loaded)make sure that these parts are there as mine didn't and my 135 would just idle and not run well at all. I can send pic and parts numbers if required.
