It sounds like you have model 30 or model 44.I am thinking more to the model 44 since it has hydraulics.Could you find out what size the engine is.If it is all there and the tin is not all bent up and motor is free it is wourth 5-600 hundred dollars. The tires also have to be decent condition.

if i read correctly in my book, having a 5 speed and a rear hydrolic lift would make it a 44 special. would this be correct? thanks, eric

From the data book I have on Massey tractors the hydraulic lift was a option on the 44 model.Hydraulics and mechanical power lift were options on the 44-6 model.Hydraulics and 3-point hitch were options on the 44-special.All three models of the 44 have 5-speed transmissions.
