I have a Massey Harris Ferguson TO-35 s/n: SGF I75625. (thats the way it appears)

Can I add an external hydraulic connection to the tractor so that I may operate a small hay cutter?

Can someone tell me what I need and where I can get it?

Thanks,
SP

Yes, you can operate external hydraulic single acting cylinders by adding a control valve(s) to the top of the internal pump "galory". I believe these valves are a 3rd party built just for the Ferguson. Mine has no name plate info. Here is how it works: There is a rectangular cover bolted to the top of the gear case just in front of the operator seat. You remove the 2 bolts and the cover and install the valve assembly over the ports that were under the cover.
The TO-35 operators manual discribes this feature and how to set the 3 point controls to use the external hydrualics. I have the 2 valve control and this allows me to operate the 3pt and my frontend loader from the same position although they can't be operated at the sametime. I understand that the 3pt and draft control can be operated from the origanal levers if you only have the single control valve. Your not going to be able to operate anything but a single acting cylinders with this set up. Volume is too low to operate any hydraulic motors.
Maybe some one else know where to get these external hydraulic control valve. I dont. Sorry.

Steve

I have a valve that will work on the The Old 35. New, will take $100 for it.
East to install as mentioned in other replys. Contact at [email protected].
