Hello Vernon -

Cyl head bolt tourque is 50 to 60 ft-lbs. Sequence - start at the centre and spiral outward. I do it in several steps - snugging all up, then repeating all in 10 - 15 lb steps until I reach 60 lbs - about 4 trips around. You need a deep socket for the nuts on the 6 injector retaining studs.

I recheck all studs again after a warm-up. Means removing injectors and stuff, but seems to help.

Valve clearance .010 hot. You can set valves number 1,2,3 and 5 (numbering from the front) with #1 cyl on top dead center, then rotate the crank 1 complete turn and set 4 and 6.

I strongly recommend getting the MF or I&T shop manual - it's a small investment to help get the job done correctly, and can save many times the cost if it avoids a screw-up. You're spending a lot on parts and time now, and it's great insurance!
