Hi all,

Just bought a MF 2200 with the model 200 Front End loader. I need some help identifying what exactly I have bought!

My serial number is 9A-26296

Any help would be appreciated. I sure like this tractor!

Bob,
I just got one of these myself except mine has a model 100 loader on it. I don't know a whole lot about tractors but you sure came to the right place, these guys are great! Let me know if there is anything I can help with. Be sure to check out Big Dean's web site. Mark

Just a little follow up, thanks all for the information. Dean (as everyone said) is great. I was just wondering though... since it is a hybrid, WHICH repair manual do I get and where do I get it? Anyone have a link?

That serial number is for a tractor built in 1967 The MF2200 is an industrial tractor it is sort of a cross of a MF135 engine & an MF165 differential with dry disc brakes they came with either the Instant Reverse transmission It runs a torque converter no clutch. The manual shuttle transmission or the straight 6 speed transmission. There was also a turf model that had drum brakes. They were replaced with the MF40 Industrial in 1969 in the United States.
