My Uncle bought a 2805 last year. The power shift seems to work fine, but the regular part of the transmission regularly gets stuck in gear. Sure is a pain.

When it"s running, it"s unstoppable. Truckloads of horsepower.

We sold 10 of the MF2000 series a 2 of MF2705, 1 of MF2745 the rest were MF2675 2 of them had the straight 8 speed transmission those never ever gave any problem but the ones with the 24 speed transmission the power shift part we had to rebuild that section any where from 2 to 5 years on all of them. the cost was any where from $1500 to $4000 to repair them other than that problem they were good tractors. Hope this helps you on this.

That should have been every 2 to 5 years that we had to repair those.

Big Dean is right on the standard 8 speed they are okay. I would strongly recommend that you stay away from the powershift. Massey had a terrible design on the 24 speed it could never hold up. Parts are very costly right now to rebuild them. I would just stay away from it even though it might seem to cheap to pass up!
