I had some sork done on my pto a short while ago. Now, when you start it up, the hydraulics will not work. After 15-20 min. it picks up the oil and works. Sometimes, it takes 40 min. I have ran it for 3-4 hours, shut it down, and start it right back...no hydraulics. Its like it looses its prime. i changed the front filter, and it was clean. I am thinking of draining the oil to inspect the screen, but I really dont think its plugged after looking at the filter. Can anyone help me?

Pull the strainer off the bottom of the transmission it is plugged trust me. Take all but 2 bolts out then loosen the 2 bolts hit plate with a hammer to knock the plate loose this will save your gasket. Clean the strainer silicone the gasket put it back on there and try it again. If your are still having problems let me know I'll guide you along.

It sounds like the automatic dump valve is not working properly,or the seal between the charging pump & the suction tube is bad.The charging pump had to be pulled out if the pto clucth was worked on. The dump valve is in the cover that the charging pump is fastend to.It is located under your feet when you are sitting on the seat.
