Iam way out of my territory over here on the MF site as I am a I.H. born and raised Iowa farm boy. But I purchased a Farmall tractor from the family last year and now with the passing of the dad they wish to sell the rest of the equipment. I have no idea of the value of the following and they want me to offer what's fair and that will be the way it goes they say: 231 MF with 277 actual hours diesel looks like new and is complete with all lights and flashers, radial tires all the way around, 3 point with 6 foot box blade ,3 cyl diesel I think and they would guess it a 95 or ,96 model Tag says made in Poland?
175 Diesel with perkins motor , fresh valve job, and the wide front has been rebuilt and steering pump redone, all new tires and decent paint. Has a allied loader on with single Hydraulic cylinder on the bucket.Runs really good and transmission seems tight and has the high/low plus the two speed shifter up on th left column.
3pt 2 gang disc with 18 inch blades about 7 feet wide There is more stuff but long enough for now. Any and all help for a ignorant MF fella would be appreciated. Thanks Migraine

in my humble opinion i"m no expert the 231 if its as clean as it sounds should be worth 6000 dollars or so thats basicly a new tractor which to replace would be close to 15000 dollars actually that tractor new depending what year it was built (1989 to 1998) it could have cost 12900 new. then the massey 175 with a loader depending on condition should be worth 4500 to 6000 dollars you can"t find any loader tractor worth anything for under that, my 2 cents... good luck, skey

Any chance you aren't going to want that disk?

I'd definitely be interested if you don't...

I think the values you've already been given are fairly accurate. Maybe a touch high, but not much.

Migraine, I am NO expert on MF values in your area but you can go to the link below and search for each model in your area and at least get a "rough" estimate on what dealers are getting for them. Then, maybe you could price yours within those values, + or - $500 or so. I would "guess" $6500+ for the 231 and $4000+ for the 175, and that might be on the low side.
