Does anyone know the valve clearance specs for the A4 236 MF 175 motor, early model.
Info I have to hand from a MF 65 manual shows a clearance of .012 cold for both inlet and exhaust. I am assuming the 175 would be the same as a 65, but on checking the clearance (cold), there is a difference between inlet and exhaust, leading me to think does this engine have different inlet and exhaust settings.
Can anyone help

.010 hot, .012 cold, saw that in I&T and that is what my neighbour, the MF mechanic used to say.

I have a Q, where is the engine serial number on my 1963 MF 175?

Thanks, JOGL.
