Hi again all
Are the valve clearances adjustable on the std 4cyl diesel? If so can anyone tell me the right clearance. I am trying to get a manual but no-one seems to have one. Thanks in advance.
Peter

Hello Peter -

The I&T Massey Ferguson shop manual MF-14 covers TO35 and TO35 diesel - both perkins and Standard 23C. There are minor differences between the TO and FE, such as the steering box, but that manual covers all the important bases. The engine sections are quite comprehensive.

Some folks feel the I&T it isn't as good as the MF factory books, but this one kept ours running for 20 years until I lucked into a factory manual at an auction. And it was 30% of Massey prices at the time I bought it!

Sorry if i seem ungratefull but you cant be to carefull and it seems strange you want to E-MAIL me the info instead of posting it.

Thank you for your response. After i removed the fuel tank and cleaned the motor i found a tag on the rocker cover and it says the same.
