Chek for leaks between the filters and injector pump. If those little rubber compression seals on your fuel lines are cracked, hardened, shrunken you will lose your prime after you shut it off. Also make sure you have clean fuel filters. Regarding cab noise, you may need new rubber donuts where the cab mounts. The stock muffler quieted the engine very well for the operatorbut produced a whistling noise that culd be heard for quite a distance. Some people remedied that by poking a crowbar down the pipe. If your original muffler has been altered or replaced excessive noise in the cab will be the result. If you have done everything to quiet the cab(rubber mounts, weatherstripping, floor mat,cab acoustic liner, fit door and windows)and it is still too loud, get some Bose noise reduction headphones. They work.
