Purchased a 79 or 80 MF model 255, 60HP/Perkins.
Where is the best place to get manuals and specifications from, as well as parts should I need them. Other discussion too.

I have found IT and other off-brand manuals to not meet my requirements. I have purchased real MF manuals for my MF-690. Get all 3 manuals: Operator Manual, Repair Manual, and the Parts Manual. Got mine from the MF dealer at a reasonable cost. Best money you can spend. Operator manual for day to day maintenance and lubricants. Repair manual for tearing assemblies down, and troubleshooting. Parts manual for two reasons: one to check all your part orders, saves time and avoids trips to dealer to return the "wrong parts". Two, it has the best, most detailed, exploded drawings needed in correct reassembly. You will save the cost of the manuals over time.
