I have a rebuildable core
Complete long block in fan to flywheel configuration. Includes blower, starter, exhaust, etc. This engine was rebuilt @2500 hrs ago.
It suffered a cam bearing failure. Was still running when we took it out, but the oil pressure was dropping and jumping back up. The Murphy System shut it down.
Will likely require block work and then reassembly.
Crank and crank + rod bearings still looked liked new.
We had a spare motor so we installed it.

Also have a running one I would like to sell, but it has to go to work until October. If I had known 2 months back, I could have sold it and had a turbo JD in its place. But I have to go to work in 2 weeks.
I have a 3rd engine as a disassembled core and would like to sell all the 653s eventually.

I'd have to check on their value if you're interested.
