I am looking to buy an old tractor to use on my 10 acres here in England. I have seen an advertisement for a 130, and wondered if anyone can tell me a bit about this model and whether it is suitable. I can't find a picture of it anywhere.

I have a MF 25 which I believe is a very similar model. My tractor was made in France in the early 60's. It's a great little tractor. It's only about 4 ft 6 inches wide with the tires turned out so it is ideal for working between rows in orchards or vineyards. My tractor has a 3 pt hitch and PTO so it is quite versatile. It has a 28 horse diesel, and so far has plenty of power for my needs. Over here in the states these tractors are rare so parts can be hard to come by; however, they may be more common in your area.
It's definitly worth taking a test drive. Good luck, Steve
