How much horsepower did they have? I have heard there was more than 1 engine size in a JR, is this true? How much does one weigh? Where is a good place to get parts for one? Thanks for any help.

The 140 engine had 24.6 drawbar and 30.4 belt HP. My book has no stats on the 163 cu. in. motor HP.

The 101JR was built from 1939 to 1946.They used a continental built engine. The sizes are a 124 cubic in,140 cubic in and a 162 cubic in.The only change on the engines was the size of the bore. The blocke are the same. The row-crop model weight is 3,250.The standard model weight is 3,360.You can get engine parts on one of the sites listed in the marketplace on this site.Seals and bearings you can get from your local bearing shop. You local Napa store can also get you engine parts.
