I am a Case guy with a little JD and Ford eperience so I would like some info on the MF TO35. Tractor Data just has info on the MF 35 with the Perkins 3 cylinder diesel. When were the gas models made? What HP are they? About how much do they weigh? I am looking a a little TO35 listed in the photo ads on this site. It looks to be in very good condition, but I would like to know a little more of the specifics before I plan a trip over to look at it.

The TO 35 is a good tractor with a 4cyl continental sleeved motor, they used the motor into the 135 series with up grades. They were around 33 pto hp. I've had 2 both with power steering and 2 stage clutch set ups. Not a lot of them were equiped this way. The 3X1 with Hi/low transmission was ahead of a lot of tractors at the time, and there fairly simple to work on and use. Allan

Do you know anything about the clutch disengaging the PTO on this tractor. The clutch works fine when shifting the transmission but when I have the PTO running and I depress the clutch the tractor wants to continue moving forward and is hard to disengage the transmission. Is there some clutch adjustment that will help? Is there some adjustment specific to the PTO that can be made?

The TO-35 is a Ferguson not a Massey Ferguson. Look under Ferguson and you should find all the data you will need. If you want more information E-mail me and I will Try to answer your questions. By the way, the TO-35 is a great tractor. Hope this helps.
Jerry

Thanks for the contact info, I will keep this in mind. After posting this question, I went back and read the MF history again and discovered this. Then looked up the serial no. info. The Tractor data location has Ferguson and MF seperate, so I went back and looked at that too, valuable info.

If questions on the YT ad unit come back favorably, I may go look at this one. I am really set on an SC Case, but this little Ferguson looks very good! I am really out for a uaseable unit for my newly aquired country place SO I am looking for a good serviceable unit as much as a toy and this one comes with implements which is a BIG plus. May take you up on your offer if I get any closer in my negotiations. Like the Case forum guys said, you can never ask too many questions. Thanks for the information and offer to help.

I just aquired a 1958 TO35. It is a great machine and mine has the Continental Z134 (33 HP) and it runs like brand new in spite of sitting in a field uncovered for 20 years!

I have a TO35 I use it in the woods to skid firewood logs and haul out the finished product. My rear tires are loaded, a neccessity up here on the Tug Hill. It is a nice tractor to drive easy to get on and off and has more than enough power for what I need.

Hey Bob: Right now we are at about one foot. A really unusual amount for us but with plenty of winter yet to come. Is -3 degrees right now.
