Control lever worked fine up until a year ago. Straight up was the "up" position. Advance it 2 1/2 inches and it would begin to lower. Now, will not raise unless control lever is pointed straight back. Will not lower unless you push the control lever straight "down". Have moved quadrant from rear most to formost position. No difference. Master control spring is in sync. No slippage on Friction Disc. There is a shaft that the Finger tip control lever is attached to and it enters the tractor, could this be the problem? Looks worn. Finger tip control lever can also be rotated 360 degrees, is this normal? Need a little help here guys!

There are people on the Ferguson forum that knows that system better than I do I never work on a lot of them. We had an older mechanic that liked working on the TO20 & TO30 so we let him do most of them. I just don't have the experience on them as I do on the TO35 & up. the people over on the Ford N series forum also has some people on it that know that system well also.
