Hi,

I need to install a circulating tank heater on my 275. Does anyone have a schematic of the perkins A4.248 block that shows where I can connect into the water jacket?

Thanks

Harrison,
don't know if you will find this of help, but the UK spec 275 has a A4.236 engine and the heater when fitted is taken from a outlet in the water pump, just up from the bottom rad hose where a 1/2 bsp plug is located. Also a plug in the left side of the engine block towards the rear and 2/3 up from the base of the block.

Thanks. I believe the the blocks are very similar with these series of engines. I have located the lower drain plug on the block and I have an n/s block heater installed in a 3/4" NPT plug almost directly above the drain. Will install the heater using these, since the plugs on the pump are dedicated to the heater in the Cab. It's -50 Degrees C with the wind chill this AM so I will wait for a warmer day before attempting. ;-(
