I am repairing the engine in my tractor. It is a101jr rowcrop 1940.It was my fathers tractor, who has long sinced past away.I was a kid at the time.He was a professional mechanic and from what I understand rebuilt this engine. Some of the things i see in this engine Im not sure of and the knowledge of the things he did went with him.For one thing I think its a 162 cu in.Two letters of the engine # were ground off and restamped.F400 A4350 is the new #.The 3 used to be a 2 and the 5 unsure.Does this have something to do early style main bearings and late style.Iam replacing the mains and need the journal specs. The main and rod bearings and journals are in beautiful shape, exept for the thrust side of the front main which is why i am replacing the mains.Anyone got any ideas.

The 101JR used three different sizes of engines from start of production to the end of production. If you drop me a line I can e-mail you the specs on the engines.
