I own a 30 myself and tried to pull it this past year. MY tractor is a 49 and weighs 3990 with me on it so i could just get in the 4000 class. I did not do well with it since the tractor just doesnt have the power

Hope this helps you

A good investment is Nebraska Tractor Tests Since 1920 by C. H. Wendel. It is a wealth of information on just about every tractor made between 1920 and 1985. You can get horsepower, fuel economy, weight, engine displacement, tire size, gear speeds, etc. A copy is by my computer at all times and I refer to it every day.
