I have a super 90 that we pulled locally this year and did very well in the 5500&6500 class, the only problem is it will not go into 3rd gear.Taking the top off the transmission we found the bearings in the main shaft to be worn, when you try to engage 3rd gear everything wants to slide ahead so it will not engage properly.I realize it will have to be split and tear down the tranny, just wondered if anybody else has done this rebuild and if parts are still available?

I'm not a puller and do not know how classes are determined, butI do have a Super 90, the operator manual indicates it weighs 7992 pounds. How do you get into the 5500-6500 class.

I was very surprised that it weighed as little as it did,the scales at the mill said it weighed 5790,we took the weight rack and 3pt arms off to shave a few more pounds off i.It has a narrow front end ,steel centre PA wheels and no fluid in 30" tires.

Thanks for the reply. My Super 90 is my toy, I purchased it a couple of years ago for $1800 and did a lot of repair, ie brakes, seals, installed alternator, etc.

How does the 3pt and hydraulics work on yours? My hydraulics are very slow,3pt seem to work good, but after 4 hours on the bush hog I had no lift at all.All fluids were alright.
