I could see a tractor like that going for $4,000 to $5,000 around here.

I wouldn"t pass it up if you can afford it.

If it all works fine I would say in the $3,000-$4,500 range. Very worthy tractor. I paid $3200 for mine with a loader but it needs some work to make it pretty.

Main Issues: Front bolster,is it cracked? Multipower, does it work or leak oil? It will work great with a loader but the tractors hydraulics are slow. You can add a front mount pump to the perkins motor...Does it has power steering, you will need it with a loader.

Look for the leaks under the shifters on the bottom of the tractor. You should see a small drain hole in the trans case. If you put the tractor in high range/ high multi power and shoot it down the road for a little bit in 2 or 3rd gear. IF the seals are bad it will drip out the hole in the trans case. Take a piece of a coat hanger and stick it in the hole to make sure it don't have some permatex in it keeping the oil from dripping out. You can read about this on Big Deans sight.
