The MH I-244 was built for the Navy and the Air Force. If it has a pto the model number should read FSI-244.The I-244 was built from 1955 to 1957.The FSI-244 was built in 1955 and 1956 and these were built for the Air Force. If there is anything more you need drop me a line.

Check on the top of the rear-end houseing on the left hand side by the pto control. The complete serial number will be stamped into the houseing. You may have to clean off some paint to read it.If you can get the number I will be able to determine what year it was made. You can e-mail me the data.
