I just bought a 1948 MH 30 which has a hydraulic pump mounted under the seat. It drives two lift arms off the back. They are mounted up high - higher than you could use with a 3ph implement, and there does not seem to be a way to attach a toplink. I don't have manuals yet but I'd like to know what kind of animal I've got here. Would appreciate any info as to how this works. Thanks.

what you have is called a depth-o-matic system.i have two massey 30's, one with one without. it wasn't a 3 point set-up.the machinery was made too lift and lower using the cylinder. however we plan to put a 3 point on ours but we'll have to build a frame, extend the hoses and fit the 3 point arms... if i can be of any further help let me know..... marcus
