Does anybody know where I can get plough points for a Massey-Harris-Ferguson 3 X 14 plough, model number 72?

The TSC store sells after-market plow points for several makes and models of ploughs. You should check them out. There is a store in Peterborough and I think in Belleville.

Try Lamberts in Beaverton, they found me some for my plow through a after market co. Not sure what model # I have but it dose have the massy-harris ferguson plate on it and it is also a 3 furrow. If you have an old share there should be some numbers on the back, thats how they ordered mine. Just for fun they looked it up through massy and where still avaliable but would of had to sell a tractor to be able to aford them. By the way hows the snow looking we had about 8 inchs on sat (Burks Falls area)

Snow report, Eastern Ontario in reply to DWB, 12-12-2004 06:41:42
I hadn't thought there was that much snow today, but the plough went through and that made the end of the driveway impassible for cars, so I got to drive the MF35 on a recent classified ad acquisition, a 5' Lucknow snowblower.

The Lucknow doesn't seem much bothered by blowing sod instead of snow and gravel. It's a smooth-operating, heavy duty machine. The pile of slush the plough left at the end of the driveway ceased to be a problem after I straddled the row with the tractor, lowered the blower and backed down the hill. No hesitation at all: it all landed downwind somewhere in a field. That's a whole lot different from picking at a similar pile with my 5 hp Toro in town.

Around the houses I had to blow snow back into about a 30 mph wind. Glad I had my full-face snowmobile helmet and suit on. The tractor became fully covered with the white stuff, but it's a diesel and doesn't have plug wires to short out.

Weather report? It's soggy, snowing, and blowing quite hard. Not a good evening for front-wheel drive cars: they plane on slush way too easily for safety.

I agree, Lambert's are superb Massey folks, telephone 705-426-7374. You really need to wrestle a share off the plough and get a part number if you can. There is a dealer north of Belleville I think, name escapes me, 'Barry from Stirling' on the Harry Ferguson board recommends them...
