I've got a '52 44RC with hydraulics. There is a round hole in the sheet metal over the hydraulic filler ahead of the radiator. Is there supposed to be some sort of cover over this hole or is it just open?

thanks,

robin

On both 30 & 44 MH's, with hydraulic, there was a steel cap, with tension teeth. A slight flatness to the circular cap, was toward the hood edge. Once a few teeth broke, the caps popped off. Though hardware stores had steel caps, they lacked the flatness edge, and simply popped off.
Rare to see an original.
