I would to by one of thoses disc harrow but I cannot find the data of that equipement. Mainly
I know this have 20 disc, but need to know the weight and the tractor recommanded for.
At the same time I do own a rear blade Massey built in the 70 that is 6'0" wide and adjustable
at angle and form up and down monted on 2 round
tubes. Any place to find data would help
Thank you in advance

Denis,

I have a 20 disc model 25. I'm not sure of the weight but it is around 600 pounds(272 kilos). You can pull it with a MF 135 with out much trouble. Even if I angle the discs hard it will pull the 20 disc.

I am very pleased with my 25. I like how I can change the angle of the gangs from the seat of the tractor. This is very handy with the type of soil we have in this area. I have the original owners manual for the model 25 disc harrow. If you decide to purchase it, I might be able to scan it on a PDF scanner for you.

The weak points of this unit are:
-They develope a lot of play in the adjustment mechanisms with age.
-If it has wood bearings you will have to convert the bearing and spool to a metal one because the parts are no longert available.

Tom

In December I purchased a MF No. 25 Disc and have just about finished restoring it. (painted it blue though) Was wondering if you still have that PDF document of the users manual? Could you send a copy? [email protected]

Thanks in advance!

Thank you for the info
We do have a compact tractor 4 wheels drive that
is equivalent to 135, NH TC 30 with the hydraulic
capacity of 1325 lbs at 24" so you just confirm that this would fit on your tractor.

Yes I would be interested in you document in PDF
let me now how you want to handle that Thank in advance.
Denis.

You're welcome Denis. You can give me your email address and I'll email the PDF to you or if you are not comfortable with posting an email address you can give me your postal address and I'll mail you a copy of the manual. It's only 18 pages. Tom
