I successfully replaced the 4 cyl continental gas engine in my 1959 MF35 with a 3 cylinder diesel AD3-152. I did not have a problem with the front axle mount. You need to find the right fuel tank (the tank of a 135 does not fit under the round bonnet of the 35, and the gas engine tank is also not the right one). The throttle linkage is different. The top pipe of the radiator needed change. I spent some time making up fuel lines to fit. Fuel and air filters are needed. I think that was it. Other than that it worked very well.

I don't know details about the MF-35, but if its like my MF-135, from the parts book. Both use the Perkins diesel engine and the Continental Z-134 or Z-145 gas engine. In my MF-135 parts book the front axle mount that bolts to the front of the engine is different for the different makes of engines.

The way to know the parts needed is to first buy the MF-35 parts book. Then after studying it, you will know more than anyone else about the swap and will know what parts to get.
