Hello from the coast of Maine. I "think" I just made the buy-of-a-lifetime...I just brought home a 1961 MF 35 that looks like a museum piece. I bought it from the 2nd owner & the tractor has been garage kept it's entire life. The tractor has had a few paint touch-ups, but other than that, it still wears original paint/ decals & i.d. plates. It has a loader on it w/ 3 buckets (4' dirt/ gravel bucket, 6' snow bucket, & 4' manuer bucket). The three piont works effortlessly, the tractor is parked on my new cement garage floor & has not dripped a drop of any fluid. Needless to say, I am very happy w/ it....but, this leads to my question, if I provide some information, can anyone decode it for me & let me know horsepower ratings/ manufacture date etc? Any info would be appreciated! O.k, here it is. The plate infront of the steering wheel reads MF 35 serial number is SGF216468. The motor plate reads: Continental Serial Number 1024942M91 1971. & the loader plate reads Ford Model I9-105 serial Number 22I3. I appreciate any & all information. This is the newest tractor I own (I have a 39' Allis WC w / a bucket, a 49' Massey Pony w/ a bucket, a 44' Farmall A, & now the 61' MF 35).....all my stuff works regularly even through the hard winters!!

SGF216468
S= chassis type = standard
G= fuel type = gas
M= clutch type = dual (live pto)

That's all I can find in my MF manuals.....doesn't even cover year mfgr'd with serial number

Do know some (mine built in Detroit) and Cont engine in Racine, WI.

My SN is 251899 and is supposed to be a '63.

Have no info on loader,

HTH
