I recently purchased a late model 165 and would like to get an idea what would be a good loader for it. Presently it has one auxillary valve with two hoses comming out from it. I would think that I would need to convert to a two handle valve body to control both the loader and bucket. Thanks in advance for any information that you can give me.

Dan, you have a good tractor. If the hoses are just in front of your seat then the tractor had remotes added and it will handle a loader but could be slow. Also it is likely that when using the loader the three point hitch will not work and when using the 3ph the loader will not work. If on the other hand you have factory hydraulics then you are set for a loader. The MF 236 loader is the right size for your tractor. Also Bush Hog 2400, 2425 and 2426 loaders match your tractor. I recently added a Bush Hog 2426 loader to my MF 255. I didn't have remote hydraulics on my tractor so the dealer installed a TAFE internal pump for my hydraulics and I couldn't be happier. It works like a dream and the loader is just so handy it's hard to describe. Good luck.
