I am not sure what the technical term is for the pin that runs the mechanisim that is attatched to the ram that runs the powersteering. It is pressed in vertically and has grease zerks on both ends. If anyone can help with the technical term I am in need of one as mine is wore out giving me alot of play in my steering wheel. I am not having any luck find it or what its proper name is online.

I replaced the one in my MF-690, along with the upper and lower bushing. It had gone ungreased so long that the shaft itself was ruined. It was a pretty good job, but workable. I had purchased all real MF manuals for the tractor: Operator Manual, Repair Manual, and Parts Manual. They are all available from the dealer. Get them first. After you have the manuals post back and I will be glad to guide you through the repair, including how to seat the bushings, etc.

I"m not sure what that part is. I am thinking it is the pedistal shaft. Can you give me any insight on that? Thanks in advance, Sam
