I am more a IH, JD. man,but I do have others, I just got a (help me here) utility MF yellow with front end loader box blade, it is a 3 cyl. dsl. no sticker to say what size it is but 30B and the loader has 34A, and the serial # is 9A325479, it has been sitting for about 2 yrs, and the 3 point don"t work he said it did work when he parked it, the arms were up, and now they are down, moving the leavers don"t make it work, id their a leaver that cuts the hyd. off. te loader works good but it has it"s own pump. It is a hydro transmission, can a pto be put in one. and about how fast is it on the road. How many gears does it have? And about what yr. is it and what # is it like a 65 or something. It runs pretty good. Well that will be enough for now. Hay thanks in advance for any help. Andy

From that description I would say you have a 1979 MF30B industrial tractor the starting serial # was 9A 300200 ending # was 9A 326168 for the 1979 tractors. The engine is an AD3-152 Perkins The transmission is an Instant Reverse you can add a pto to it but it will not be live. For the Three point hydraulic pump & pto to work either the rear wheels have to be turning or the one of the transmission shift levers has to be in neutral and either the forward or reverse pedals has to be pushed down and when you push the reverse pedal down the pto will turn backwards. Have you tried the lift like that. If it still will not work that way then probably the control valve has stuck from it setting for two years that happens sometimes. If I can answer any more question for you on it email me.
