I know this tractor is far from an antique but I was on a hayride tonight and the fellow was pulling the wagon with a 6290. He had ten suitcase weights on the front. How much do these weights weigh? Just curious. Thanks, Glenn F.

As a rule of thumb add 40 to the last two digits of the model number for 4200, 4300 and 6200 series. 90 + 40 = 130HP. It varies a bit depending on which standard is used for calculating power and where it"s measured (engine power will be greater than PTO power due to transmission losses) The weights are 45kg, or 25kg were an option on some tractors.

6290 is 135 hp.

Very, very nice tractor, ive used one hedge cutting. just wish i could afford to buy one!

dynashift is amazing as well. Especially something like hedge cutting.

The sandwich weights on this one were i think 50kg. So thats half a tonne for your bloke. This one probably had 10 on it actually. MAkes a smoother ride.

Ben

I think the 6200 series has been replaced by the 6400 series.
