'52 44's had a split in S/N's, early around 1100 PSI. The 40K series, by late '52, #42K,& up may
run closer to 1250, as Continental was updating cams, timing, for non-ag use of this engine, since the H277 was debuting in the Specials. Wise
to forget building a 3 point on a'52, nothing worked, until Hitch-All(cat.II), in mid '54, on
the Special.Earlier attempts were mere cultivator
lifts, modified, broken up by 44's. There are no '54 44's, only Specials. Your goal, a n Ford, stop playing with early MH hitches, waste of time
Bottom line:No Hitch-All, no 3 point function.
The trade of large old iron, for Ford small, costs
you money. Marlowe stated it, it is a fact.
