The power steering lines that go from the steering box to the cylinders are in poor condition on my machine. One was replaced (before I got it) with steel brake line(ugh!)
Would it be cheaper to get them from dealer or would I be better off having them made up at hydraulic shop. I have found that sometimes OEM stuff is cheaper than having it made.
Thanks

I had to replace the one on my 255. I just used a hydraulic hose from Rural King. Less than $30 and it works great.

Just be careful and use a lot of zip ties to make sure it stays out of the fan or anything else dangerous.

I had them made at a hydraulic supply shop. Chances are the dealer will do the same and charge you a markup. If they have their own crimper and enough fittings the price will be close. Get quotes.
